Rancho Valencia Resort

This world class 45 acre luxury resort property is near and dear to our hearts here at R. Douglas Mansfield Architects. We first began working on the Rancho Valencia Resort in the late 90’s, with the original owner/developer Harry Collins. In those early days we designed the Spa at Rancho Valencia and the fractional ownership Villas and worked on several private residences within the resort’s boundaries. In 2012, a new era began, we were honored to be invited to work side by side with the new owners on a $30 million dollar full renovation to the Main Clubhouse, The Tennis Clubhouse, The Veladora Restaurant and kitchen, and The Pony Bar. In addition to the main building renovations our team redesigned and fully revamped all of the Guest Suites and the Hacienda Suite. While the property renovations were ongoing we designed the new Yoga Tranquility Pavilion and an expansion of the properties fitness facilities.
